Projects

Since its foundation (2003), Condes has implemented dozens of projects for different clients. Assignments vary from the preparation and evaluation of individual investments to the evaluation and development of large international programs and funds. Below are some examples of our projects:

Nefco (The Nordic Environment Finance Corporation)

NEFCO is an International Finance Institution (IFI) owned by 5 Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland). In the Independent Review (2024) we assessed NEFCO's finance to Nordic SMEs for scale-up of green technologies and solutions on global markets. The assignment was carried out in cooperation with SVC Consultancy (UK).

Finnfund (the Finnish Fund for Industrial Cooperation, the bilateral Development Finance Institution of Finland)

Report on impact investors' best practices and emerging industry standards in measuring, monitoring and reporting impact (2019)

Report on the blended finance instruments used by relevant international peer organizations (2019)

Obviam AG, Switzerland

Obviam is an independent investment advisor that, at the time of the assignment (2020), managed SIFEM's (Swiss Investment Fund for Emerging Markets) investments in emerging markets. The assignment included consulting on investment impact assessment and reporting.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland

Support for the Ministry in the management and further development of the Ministry's Blended Finance Portfolio. We have supported the Ministry in screening and assessing potential fund investment,s and developed tools and procedures needed for the investment management cycle. (Framework contract 2022 - ongoing)

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Denmark

Mid-Term Evaluation of the Danish SDG-fund, a public-private partnership that offers advice and risk capital for projects supporting the development in strategic sectors in developing countries. These sectors includes climate, agribusiness and food, the financial sector, water as well as production and infrastructure. Condes Ltd carried out this assignment in 2022 together with SVC Consultancy (UK).

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Netherlands

Mid Term Review of the Access to Energy Fund (AEF) and Building Prospects Fund (BP), the government blended finance funds managed by FMO (the Dutch bilateral DFI). Condes participated in the Review via ADE (Belgium). (2024)
